Nissan Goes Rogue in the SUV Market

Look around you on the road, and chances are you’ll spot a few SUVs at any given time. If there is one thing Americans love, it is SUVs. With such high-demand, the SUV market is saturated with so many choices these days. It can be hard to decide which one is worth your hard-earned cash. It can almost feel like Russian Roulette trying to decide which of buy. Yet, there’s only one contender that brings maximum bang for your buck: the 2019 Nissan Rogue.
With over 175,000 units sold this year so far, hundreds of thousands of Americans have pulled the trigger on the 2019 Nissan Rogue. As the seventh best-selling vehicle of the year so far, the Rogue continues to attract customers.
It isn’t a surprise when you consider just how much technology and features Nissan packed into their highest-demand vehicle this year. The fact that the Rogue continues to be one of the most affordable options around, despite all those toys and tricks, makes it even easier to understand.
Cars.com recently took the time to rundown some of the virtues of the amazingly-affordable, feature-filled 2019 Nissan Rogue. Here’s a look at why you should take aim at a Rogue today.

Providing Plentiful Technology

Multimedia technology is another area that car manufacturers tend to make you pay a premium for, but the 2019 Nissan Rogue has more than its share of standard features. An impressive infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, two USB ports and satellite radio all come with no extra price.
You can use the USB ports to charge your phone as it sits connected to the Rogue’s computers, no matter which of the two phone frameworks you’re sporting. While some vehicles only support Android Auto or Apple CarPlay (and some offer neither at all,) Nissan has synced up rare support for both.

Packing ProPilot Assist

Nissan is one of the world’s leaders when it comes to driving aid systems, and the 2019 Rogue is one beneficiary of that advanced technology. ProPilot Assist comes standard on the SL trim and is an available upgrade for the SV trim.
When traveling on highways with clearly-visible lanes, the system manages acceleration, braking and steering for better control with less work for the driver. Cars.com reviewer Fred Meier made a note in his larger review that while other SUVs have similar systems, Nissan’s ProPilot Assist is easier to use than most and much more reliable.

Getting Great Value

Packing plenty of features is fantastic, but if doing so pushing the price past the point of affordability for most drivers, what’s the point? Thankfully, the 2019 Nissan Rogue maintains a great value even with all the added aspects and features.
When pitted against the Rogue’s two biggest rivals, the price-point-to-feature ratio becomes even more clearly tilted in Nissan’s favor. As Cars.com noted, the entry-level CR-V is slightly cheaper, but runs pretty light on standard features. The Rogue’s collection of base-level amenities far out-value the increased cost. On the other hand, the Rogue is $600 dollars less than a base level RAV4 for essentially the same features, giving the Rogue a dominating lead in this area.

Finding Fuel Efficiency

Affordable upfront costs are great, but fuel costs from gas-guzzling SUVs can add up quickly. The 2019 Nissan Rogue fights back against such concerns with respectable efficiency. Cars.com highlighted the Rogue’s EPA-estimated mileage of 26 mpg city, 33 mpg highway and 29 mpg combined for the front-wheel-drive version. The Rogue continues to save your hard-earned cash long past pulling out of the dealership.
